KASHRUT NOTICES FOR PESACH 2008

KASHERING OF POTS AND PANS FOR PESACH
The kashering of pots, pans and utensils for Pesach will be conducted on Sunday, 13th April from 9.00am to 3.00pm at the Jewish Centre, Woodrow Avenue, Yokine.(entry from the side door facing Carmel School)

Please ensure that the pots are clean and that the handles have been detached (if possible)

Note: it is preferable that the pots, pans and utensils not be used 24 hours prior to kashering

SALE OF CHAMETZ FORMS
These forms can be obtained from the Maccabean or your shule and need to be filled in , signed and returned before Pesach

PURCHASE OF FOOD FOR PESACH
Please Note:
In order to be “Kosher for Pesach” a food item must be listed as such by a Kashrut Authority and/or be labelled with a “p” or ”Kosher for Pesach”.

Please note: KAWA has determined that all honey produced under the Wescobee label and butter produced by Capel Dairy are chametz free and suitable for use on Pesach.

KAWA is pleased to announce the times and locations of supervised fish production for Pesach 2008:

**Important: When ordering your fish please ensure you advise the shop that it requires supervision as a kosher for Pesach order.**
